Meet the Inspiration behind the brand- Raksha
Born and brought up in a small village in Himachal, she was focussed towards one goal - raising her children right. The journey was tough but she held her head up and spine straight and managed it all .
The Brand's name and the brand is inspired by my mother , Mrs. Urmil Tiwari, more popularly known as "Raksha". The name suits her right as she protected and nurtured her eight + kids . It is not possible to sum up the whole story in a few lines.
"The Raksha Store " was started in January 2022 to spread the charm , the elegance of Sarees . Our handcrafted sarees are made of Pure fabrics and adorned with beautiful prints , embroideries and designs. Whether you are looking for a daily wear or a mesmerising saree for any special occasion- we have it all.
Embarking on this journey wasn't a walk in the park, but fueled by our passion , we persevered. What began as a modest endeavour has blossomed into a diverse collection of chic and enduring attire.
We have proudly introduced a wide variety of Kota Doria Sarees to a larger market and aspire it to become a preferred choice for all. Our range comprises of a wide variety of Kota Doria Sarees in Handblock, Vegetable dyes, Indigo, Ajrakh, Leheriya, Gota Patti and more. We also create magnificent designs in Linen Sarees, Zari Linen Sarees, Silk Linen Sarees .

The woman who started it all and is determined to achieve her goals. Born and brought up in Dehradun , she wanted to become a News Anchor . But life had different plans. She started working at an early age to make the ends meet for her family. Fashion came naturally to her and she always loved the beauty and elegance of sarees. She was successfully running her skincare brand and had just begin to plan her saree business when covid hit hard and she had to shut it down. It was demotivating but in 2022 , she finally decided to restart her own brand for sarees. The sarees are procured from all over India , but Kota Doria sarees remained her favourite and she decided to explore the fabric more. The future collections will see a lot of different styles in Kota Doria Sarees in a never seen before avatar.
